was in the papers today mulling over Tuesday night.

"I thought it had gone when Mavis (Mark Reilly) hit the inside of the post in the 92nd minute. But one thing about the players, they kept going and there is no way we’d have deserved to lose the tie."

"On clear cut chances we could have scored seven or eight goals and t was only the fact we didn’t take as many of those opportunities as we might have that made the evening as fraught as it was."

"I stuck Peter MacDonald on for the last ten minutes and with extra time his run out turned into 40 minutes. Understandably, he was feeling rather delicate afterwards. But the longer than expected appearance will have helped him through the psychological barrier which is always there to overcome when you are returning from a long spell out. And now it’s just about getting games into him and Chris Hay."

The next round of the Cup is to be drawn this afternoon at 2-30. There are still plenty of tickets left for the Falkirk game, with only 500 having been sold so far.
