"The second half against Raith Rovers was very poor and there was no hiding from that. We needed to show determination after that and we did. This has been a massive week for us and now we have to look to keep a run going and show more consistency."
On the man of the moment he said;
"They were fantastic goals from Peaso. He isn’t fully fit yet but he’s got a very good knowledge about how to play up front. He’s a goalscorer and I’m sure there will be a few more in his locker."
Billy Stark was also delighted after his players responded in the perfect manner;
"I’m proud of all my players. They’ve shown the character that is in the team and now they need to show it on a game by game basis. This was a big, big game in so many ways and I would have settled for a scrappy 1-0 win. You can never budget for getting three goals of that quality, but I felt that the quality of the goals was in keeping with the quality of our play. In the last couple of games the players have done what I asked of them and have gone out and shown people what they’re made of. The test that was put in front of them on Tuesday night was as hard a test as they’ll face as a group of players and they came through it with flying colours. They took that into the Falkirk match and in many ways improved on it."
