PEASO knows Saints have a real battle on their hands today:

"We have a few injuries with Mark Reilly and Mark Robertson out and Paul Bernard hasn’t trained much this week, and we really need our strongest team for these games."

He refuses to read too much into the last encounter:

"Despite the last game, I’ve never doubted they would be up there with us— they are a strong side and it will be a difficult game. But we are confident because we’re on a good run, and while that’s got to end sometime hopefully it won’t be tomorrow."

Billy Stark is also playing down the Ochilview game:

"You don’t go into games like that expecting those scores, although we did play well on the day and took our chances. But they are on a good run just now, having gone to the Highlands two weeks in a row and taken six points and then beaten Raith. It’s a pressure game, because we don’t want anyone jumping ahead of us. It is important at the halfway stage to be in a challenging position, which we are in just now, but all the other teams are of the same view and it’s very cut throat."

Stark is also looking to the defence to be on top form this afternoon:

"Defending better breeds confidence throughout the team because if they know we won’t lose a goal the creative players can work at their own game. Set-pieces especially will be important as the games against Falkirk last season didn’t have much between the teams in open play but we lost every goal from a set- piece. With guys like John Hughes, Kevin James and James Sharp we will have to really concentrate, but we have been doing that far better recently."
